The last month has been very exciting in the Erickson household. Little Reagan has learned to crawl, literally over night. She took her first crawl “steps” one morning and was going across the room by the end of the day. Needless to say, Mom and Dad were at IKEA the next day picking up the equipment to secure all of our bookcases to the wall immediately. The next week Reagan decided she would begin working on mastering stairs so I have been perusing Amazon for baby gates to purchase ASAP. Reagan is also really showing her personality. She began shaking her head “no”, waves “bye” (without prompt when she wants to get away from someone), and claps when others cheer. She is recognizing people she knows and doesn’t know and will reach to be held by others. She still loves oatmeal with applesauce and applesauce on its own, but has really developed a taste for almost anything off my plate. She is eating white meat, vegetables like peas, carrots, and sweet potatoes, and loves every fruit I have given her. She especially loved the peaches we had delivered from Harry and Davids (thanks Dale and Joanne!) and some harvested from my mom’s orchards!
